Simon Cowell allegedly wants to bring Cheryl Cole back to the judging panel of The X Factor.
The singer had a brief stint on the US version of the show before she was replaced by Nicole Scherzinger.
It is rumoured that Simon Cowell is planning on making big changes to the series and the Girls Aloud singer is supposedly being lined up to replace Kelly Rowland.
A source told the Daily Mirror: "Cheryl is part of The X Factor family.
"Formal discussions have yet to take place but if she wants to come back she would be welcomed with open arms."
Simon and Cheryl have made up since falling out over his decision to axe her from the US show.
Asked if he would like Cheryl to come back, Cowell said: "For sure, if she wanted to - 100%. I think she probably misses me."
An insider for the show said: "We'd welcome her with open arms. She was hugely popular and she's totally gorgeous. We'd love to have her back."
