Amanda Holden is hoping to return to the Britain's Got Talent panel for the Edinburgh audition.
It will be only two weeks after she almost died giving birth to her daughter Hollie.
Amanda stunned bosses by saying: "Don't replace me - I'm coming back!"
It was presumed the 40-year-old would miss the remaining UK auditions.
However, after being in a critical condition for three days Amanda is making "remarkable progress".
She will miss the London audition but will definitely return for the Birmingham audition later this month but could even be at the Edinburgh try-outs next weekend.
Amanda is quoted by the Daily Mirror as telling a friend: "I'm much stronger and thrilled with my new family."
She added: "I'm hoping to go back to Britain's Got Talent in Edinburgh - I feel so much better it is fantastic."
Fellow judge David Walliams said of Amanda's surprise comeback: "It's fantastic news."
