Simon Cowell is desperate to land some star power for the judging panel of the US X Factor.
It was recently confirmed that Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger would not be returning for a second series.
The music mogul has allegedly offered Beyoncé a huge sum of money to accept a role on the show.
Insiders have claimed that Cowell offered the Single Ladies singer $500million to join the panel.
It is reportedly for a five year deal, which will see the diva take home $100million a series.
A source told Media TakeOut: "Simon wants a big name female star on the panel.
"Mariah is good, but she's not that hot today. He wants Beyoncé because that would immediately give him the bounce needed to beat American Idol."
Meanwhile, Mariah Carey's husband Nick Cannon recently denied that the singer would be joining The X Factor. He said she was too famous for the show.
Other stars suggested as possible judges include Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj and Tulisa Contostavlos.
