One Direction are to bring forward the release of their debut album in the US due to popular demand.

The boyband are to release Up All Night on March 13 after they gained a loyal following in the States.

Their debut single What Makes You Beautiful will be released digitally in the US on February 14.

One Direction recently flew out to Los Angeles to film a guest appearance on Nickelodeon's iCarly show.

Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson are to play themselves and perform their debut single on the programme.

This weekend the X Factor stars are to perform twice on Dancing on Ice.

The five-piece will be performing One Thing and What Makes You Beautiful on the show.

Later this month, One Direction will return to the support Big Time Rush for the North American leg of their Better With U tour.
