Matthew Wolfenden has claimed that Dancing on Ice judge Louie Spence is hard on him because he is jealous.
The Emmerdale actor suggested that the Pineapple Dance Studio star bears a grudge against him.
Wolfenden has appeared on the top of the leaderboard for his first two performances on the show.
However, last week Louie was not so full of praise, saying: "This week was a mid tempo number but for me it just didn't have that spark that you should have with every tempo.
"You set your own benchmark, so you need to live up to that."
Wolfenden claims that Louie is still smarting from a time when the actor once beat him to a dance role.
He told the Daily Star: "When I came out of dance school my first audition was for a part in Romeo And Juliet. Weirdly enough Louie was at the same audition.
"I ended up in the show and he didn't. What's even funnier is that Jason Gardiner was also there for an audition and I don't think he got a part either."
The actor joked: "It's a good job he's not still on the panel as well or I really would be in trouble."
However, Matthew faces a tough weekend as he faces a ice battle with Jorgie Porter, who was joint top on the leaderboard last weekend.
