Lorraine Kelly flew the flag for Scotland tonight when she graced the red carpet at the National Television Awards.
The bubbly Scots beauty stole the show in a fifties inspired tartan frock made by Candy Anthony London, giving a nod to her homeland’s Burns celebrations.
While Lorraine is not up for an award this year, her fellow Scottish star Karen Gillan has just taken the title of best Female Drama Performance for her role in Doctor Who, at the glittering awards bash.
The flame haired actress, rocking a short black dress, said: “Oh my good God, thank you so much, this means so much to me, this is amazing but I am terrified right now!”
Inverness lass Karen beat off stiff competition from Suranne Jones (Scott & Bailey), Eve Myles (Torchwood) and Jaye Jacobs (Waterloo Road).
The National Television Awards are live on STV till 10pm tonight, hosted by dashing X Factor favourite Dermot O’Leary.
The show opened in spectacular style with Bruce Forsyth and Ant and Dec performing a unique version of Let There Be Love.
This year is the 17th annual National Television Awards, with the glitzy ceremony at London’s O2 attended by over a thousand famous faces from the world of TV.
