With just hours to go till the National Television Awards 2012 kick off, we thought we’d remind you of the stars and television delights up for gongs at tonight’s glittering ceremony.
The 17th National Television Awards will be broadcast live from the O2 from 7.30pm, hosted by the ever dishy Dermot O’Leary.
As well as an Xciting performance from X Factor winners Little Mix, we’ve also heard rumours about a possible duet between Sir Bruce Forsyth and Ant and Dec – sure to cause a Rumble.
Amongst those putting on their glad rags in the hope of scooping a prize tonight are: former Corrie lovely Katherine Kelly (can’t believe we have to say former now, sniff sniff), Chelsea Halfpenny from Emmerdale (both up for Serial Drama Performance) and Scottish star Karen Gillan, who is up for best Drama Performance – Female, obviously.
The Loose ladies are up for the Talk Show prize, against The Jonathan Ross Show, The Graham Norton Show and Alan Carr: Chatty Man.
Downton Abbey bosses are hoping to repeat their Golden Globes success in the Drama category, while Ant and Dec could be in for their 11th consecutive Entertainment Presenter gong tonight… but they face stiff competition from Michael McIntyre, Keith Lemon and Mr O’Leary himself.
Take a look at the full list of nominees here and get ready to enjoy the glitz, the glamour of the NTAs at 7.30 on STV tonight.
