As Stella grows suspicious over Peter and Carla’s relationship, Anne and Sally find out what’s been going on between them.

Peter and Carla have been sneaking around like a pair of lovestruck teenagers for the past few weeks, but the cat is out of the bag in tonight’s show as the pair’s illicit romance is discovered by Anne and Sally.

At 7.30pm, Stella is tempted to tell Leanne about the necklace Peter gave to Carla, but when her daughter tells her how well they have been getting on lately, she’s left feeling torn.

Meanwhile, Carla gets upset in the pub when she finds out that evil rapist Frank and gullible Sally are an item, and as Peter reaches out to comfort her, eagle-eyed Stella spots the pair and is furious.

As she takes Peter through to the back and demands to know what’s going on, will the street’s resident alcoholic be able to convince his mother-in-law that nothing’s going on between him and Carla?

At 8.30pm, Anne gets emotional and breaks down in front of Frank and Sally, telling them that Carla’s lies about the rape killed her husband. In a state, Anne storms round to the factory, hell-bent on telling Carla exactly what she thinks of her.

Meanwhile, Carla and Peter are at the factory talking about their tangled love life when Anne barges in, laying into Carla and telling her exactly what she thinks of her. As Sally drags Frank’s mother away, Carla is left in turmoil as the pair overheard what they were saying…oh dear, what a tangled love web you have weaved, Carla!

Elsewhere on the cobbles, love isn’t running too smoothly for Tyrone as he discovers the truth about his scheming girlfriend, while bolshy Becky is over the moon when Danny tells her he fancies her and asks her out on a date.
