Laurelconfesses all about her affair with Marlon to Nicola this week, leaving Nicola shocked and struggling to get her head round what she’s just been told.
Things between Laurel and Ashley aren’t good at the star of the week when Ashley tells his wife that he’s got Jude to conduct their vow renewal. Unenthusiastic, Laurel is dismayed when it becomes clear that Ashley will be avoiding any intimacy.
As Ashley continues to avoid Laurel, Rhona suggests to Marlon that he buy the pair a gift for their renewal, leaving him fuming.
Things go from bad to worse when Marlon later seethes to Laurel about her vow renewal, leaving her shocked by his outburst.
Unable to keep things to herself any longer, Laurel tells a shocked Nicola that she had an affair with Marlon, leaving her stunned and disbelieving.
Nicola tells her friend that she can’t stay with Ashley out of loyalty if her heart truly lies with Marlon, leaving Laurel feeling wretched.
Meanwhile, Rachel tells Marlon in the pub that he needs to get over Laurel and move on. Will Laurel and Marlon end up back in each other’s arms or are they destined to always be star crossed lovers? It’s like Romeo and Juliet!
