Little Mix delivered their strongest performance yet on Saturday night’s X Factor, when the gorgeous girlgroup sang En Vogue's Don't Let Go.
Louis Walsh told them: “To me, you could be the best girlband to come out of the UK.”
Now, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirwall are determined to make it to the final and break The X Factor “girlband curse.”
But they couldn’t have got to where they are in the competition without the backing and support of mentor Tulisa Contostavlos.
The girls have built up a close bond with the N-Dubz star and while other acts have been at odds with their mentors, arguing over song choices and outfits, Little Mix have nothing but praise for Tulisa.
Jesy told The Sun: "Tulisa is a brilliant mentor. She is so full on and she does everything for us.
"She is not only our mentor, she is our friend.”
The girls are keen to keep their heads down during the week and get stuck into rehearsals, taking on every comment the judges make.
While Gary Barlow praised their performance on Saturday night, he said he would like to see them comeback with a stripped back track that would showcase their vocals.
What Gary wants, Gary gets as Jesy explained: "We have two songs this week so we can do some different stuff and maybe he will see us a little more stripped back."
Although JLS and One Direction have gone on to enjoy incredible success off the back of X Factor, a Group has never won the competition.
Could Little Mix be the first band to take The X Factor crown.
Jade said: "This year it has all been about doing new things — new judges, new styles — so maybe there can be a new kind of winner... like a girl band. We want it so bad."
