Paolo Nutini has been named Best Headline Act at the UK Festival Awards, after he topped the bill at RockNess and Latitude.
Nutini beat Beyonce, Kasabian, Arctic Monkeys, Prince, U2 and Coldplay for the title.
The Scots singer collected his gong at a celebrity-packed event at the Roundhouse in London.
He said: "Get in! Thanks for everyone who watched in the rain, glad you stayed - this one's for you guys."
A spokesman for Paolo told the Daily Record: "This is a great award for Paolo and the band to win.
"They gave some fantastic performances this summer, not least an incredible headline slot at RockNess in June. The guys loved headlining this festival and, as ever, the crowd were amazing."
They added: "Paolo and the band feel very honoured that fans voted for them ahead of acts like U2, Coldplay and Beyonce. As always, a big thank you to everyone. They hope to see you all in 2012."
The Paisley-born star won the award for his show at the Latitude festival in Suffolk.
However, RockNess festival director Jim King offered his congratulations, saying: "This summer, Paolo proved what a truly class act and great live performer he is.
"At RockNess, the whole band were superb, super-tight and on top of their game.
"They took risks with some inspiring covers and I defy anyone to say that was not the performance of the weekend for us.
"He totally deserves this award."
