Frankie Cocozza’s departure from The X Factor may have left the door open for one act to return, but it won’t be boyband The Risk.
The lads have taken to Twitter to deny reports they will be making a comeback this weekend, despite calls from angry X Factor fans who feel they shouldn’t have gone in the first place.
Charlie Healy wrote: “Although we would love to, the risk are not coming back on x factor. Sorry everyone. :-) xxx”
An announcement re the line-up for this weekend’s show is expected this afternoon and rumours are rife that one of the rejected acts will return.
Could Johnny Robinson be back to grace our screens once more?
Some reports suggest the public could be given the chance to vote Amelia Lily, 2 Shoes, Jonjo Kerr or James Michael, who were sent packing by the judges on the first live episode of the series, back into the show.
Whatever happens, it’s certainly going to be an Xtra special show after the drama of Mr Cocozza’s booting off.
