X Factor girl group Rhythmix is changing its name.
An official X Factor spokesperson confirmed: "At the request of the charity Rhythmix, the members of the girl group Rhythmix have decided to change their name, a decision which has the support of Syco and TalkbackTHAMES.
“The group's new name will be announced in due course".
Tulisa Contostavlos’ girls haven’t had the easiest of times on The X Factor, as Jesy Nelson, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall originally auditioned for the show as solo artists.
At Bootcamp, the judges decided they would work better in a group and after a swift line-up change, Rhythmix was formed.
The girls have gone on to become BFF and have won praise from the judges for their fun, feisty performances.
