Tulisa Contostavlos has been turning heads since joining The X Factor panel as a judge, but she’s revealed her enviable figure is nothing to do with spending hours working out on the treadmill.
The 23-year-old N-Dubz singer has admitted that she “never” goes to the gym and has never been on a diet her whole life. Lucky girl!
“I don’t actually try,” the judge is quoted saying in new! magazine. “I eat whatever I want and I never go to the gym or work out. I’m just bloody lucky and I’ll carry on stuffing my face while I can get away with it.”
Tulisa, who loves food and often tweets about her treats throughout the day, also said that she’s not bothered about having a super-slim figure because she embraces her curves.
“I’m slim but I’m jellified. I’m pure jelly!,” the star joked. “There’s no muscle there. I love food; it’s hard for me not to overindulge. I’ve got boobs and a bum so I’ll never be super-skinny.”
And it seems that Tulisa’s healthy attitude to her body and weight is getting the thumbs-up from X Factor bosses.
“Being on such a high profile show is hard and some were worried the pressure would get to her and she’d start to drop weight – but she’s getting more confident,” a source told Star magazine. “She’s a really good role model.”
The X Factor continues this Saturday and Sunday, when the hopefuls who made it through from the auditions will battle it out at Bootcamp to land a place in the Judges’ Houses stage.
