One Direction band member Louis Tomlinson has admitted that he was pulled over by the police in the States.
They almost shut down shooting of their new music video in America, because of his bad driving.
The X Factor star was with his bandmates Liam Payne, Harry Stykes, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan in LA.
One Direction are currently shooting the video for their debut single.
However, while filming on a public road, a cop pulled the band's car over.
Louis told The Sun: "I got pulled over by the US police. They thought I was all over the place.
"The officer goes: `Listen, man, I can shut this thing down if you carry on driving like this. You're driving like a maniac.'
"And I was like: `Man, put the gun down. I don't want no trouble.'"
This month it was announced that One Direction's next licensed book, Dare to Dream: Life as One Direction, will be released 15 Sept 2011.
The band were set to release their debut single in June but it has been put back until August to coincide with the launch of the next series of The X Factor.
