Joseph Hall’s bodypopping performance blends the old with the new on BGT

Whether George Sampson is your favourite or you’re a big fan of Diversity, street dancers traditionally do well in Britain’s Got Talent.

And in this week’s show it was 35-year-old Joseph Hall hoping to continue the trend.

The sharply dressed Nottingham man showed off his moves to a remix of Peggy Lee’s Why Don’t You Do Right?.

Wearing a jacket, hat and clutching an umbrella Joseph popped his body and break danced across the stage.

The dance studio managing director then ditched his jacket and props to cartwheel and flip to the music.

Dance expert Alesha Dixon was quick to show her support: “You just move brilliantly, it’s effortless. That was a great audition.”

Amanda Holden was equally impressed: “The fusion of old fashioned entertainment and new is absolutely brilliant.”

While Simon Cowell added: “That’s how you do an audition.”

But did Joseph Hall do enough to make it into the next round?
