Cheryl Cole has reportedly decided to rent a mansion in the London suburbs now she has left the home she shared with ex-husband Ashley.
It is believed the £3,500-a-week house is in the upmarket area of Hadley Wood, Enfield.
The Girls Aloud singer has apparently told pals she is "in love" with the place.
Cole is reportedly also house hunting in Los Angeles to help with her attempt to break in the US market.
The X Factor judge's new London residence is thought to be temporary until she finds a permanent home.
A source told The Sun: "She's renting for now because her life is so hectic she doesn't have the time to find somewhere to buy.
"The house is handy for London, where most of her meetings take place."
Meanwhile, it is rumoured that Cheryl's chances of being chosen as a judge for the US version of The X Factor are not good.
Producers of the new show feel they want someone who is already known in the states.
