The Duelling Pianos divide judges with crowd pleasing double act

Two men duetting on two pianos sounds like the start of a joke.

But The Duelling Pianos showed they were no comedy act as they managed to get Simon Cowell clapping along to their Great Escape megamix.

Within seconds of starting Rob Russell and Craig Michael were buzzed by Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon.

However by the end of the performance all the judges were laughing and applauding to the Leeds double act.

Amanda said: “I would like to say that I’ve been a little bit premature and I like to withdraw my buzzer.

“It was very entertaining, it was funny. You had everybody on their feet at the end.”

Alesha echoed Amanda’s comments much to Simon Cowell’s disdain who had previously criticised the musicians for hitting bum notes, he said “You’ve gone absolutely, completely..”

Before he could finish his sentence he was cut off by David Walliams adding: “What’s your problem? Do you not know talent when you see it?”

Did the Duelling Pianos do enough to go through to the next round?
