Former Dancing On Ice star Chris Fountain has suggested that it is easier for a woman to take part in the ice dancing contest than a man.
He told This Morning that men have a tougher time in the contest as their role is more challenging.
Chris said: "The guys really have to concentrate, not only on yourself but you have to lead your partner, make sure you don't drop her.
"You've got make sure you know what your feet are doing, then your step sequences.
"[The men] have got to perform it, be a showman and smile which is what everyone wants to see."
He added: "The girls have got a completely different job because they have to completely trust their partner."
Chris Fountain finished as runner-up in the 2008 finals of Dancing On Ice behind eventual winner Suzanne Shaw.
