Celebrity Big Brother host Brian Dowling has said that Rylan Clark being allowed to leave the reality house is “not a big deal”.
Dowling insists that the X Factor star’s exits have not affected the reality of the show.
Asked by DJ Nicky Campbell on BBC Radio 5 how Rylan was coping with being in the house and rehearsing for The X Factor tour, Dowling laughed: “Are you trying to trip me up?"
Campbell responded: "No, just tell me the truth... he's out of the house, is he?"
Dowling replied: "Contractually, before he entered the show he was told he could leave on two occasions with a chaperone and a choreographer to rehearse for the tour.
"As far as I'm aware he obviously didn't speak about anything BB. It's not really affected the reality - the housemates don't mind.
"Big Brother don't mind. It's not really affected Rylan's time in the house. I just don't really see it as a big deal.
“The show is not what it was on Channel 4."
