John Barrowman is to co-host 'Children In Need' in Scotland.
The 43-year-old actor is to join forces with Scottish newsreader Jackie Bird for 'Children In Need Rocks Scotland' on Friday November 19, where they will introduce bands, comics and musical productions during the evening of charity fundraising.
He said: "Working on 'Children In Need' is always a highlight of my year. The cause is such a worthy one, and unfortunately right now the number of children in need in the UK is growing.
"I'm really looking forward to doing what I can to raise spirits and lots of cash."
Jackie added: "The show is always exciting, but this year we're really pushing the boat out for our fundraisers and viewers. I hope that in return people will give what they can."
During the evening, John will front live link-ups between Glasgow's SECC arena - which seats 4,000 - and the rest of the UK's broadcasting of the televised charity night.
Bands will include Pearl and the Puppets, dance act The Box and performances from the cast of musical 'We Will Rock You'.
