X Factor judge Cheryl Cole is apparently reviewing her security arrangements after receiving death threats over her choice of contestants for the live finals, a report has claimed.
An angry viewer allegedly told the Girls Aloud star "Every1 has a bullet for you".
It is believed that they are furious with Cole for deciding to select Cher Lloyd and Katie Waissell over fan favourite Gamu Nhengu.
A source told a tabloid newspaper that Cheryl has had new alarms fitted at her Surrey mansion.
A friend told The Sun that Cole is most upset over a Facebook campaign group against her.
An insider told the newspaper: "She's taking these threats seriously and is increasing her already good security."
X Factor bosses are also believed to have increased security for the live finals.
The source added: "Producers don't want any risk. Everyone's quite nervous and wants the live shows to go without a hitch."
