The finalists have been informed that they will be attending the 'funeral' of Big Brother on their last ever full day in the house.
Victor read out the task details which had been placed in a wreath shaped as the Big Brother eye logo.
He read: "Today is a very sad day, it is Big Brother's funeral.
"Housemates are invited to pay respects by preparing a speech, and bring one item that sums up their experience."
The instructions went on to explain that the items will be placed in a time capsule and buried in the garden.
Brian said: "My God, it's so sad and dreadful."
Housemates were then provided with smart black dresses and suits for the occasion.
The group then set about writing their speeches with Chantelle saying that hers will be "jokingly deadly serious" and Nick revealed that he will be "freestyling" his clothes.
Nikki said: "I'm taking it too seriously. It's getting me down."
