The future of Britain’s Got Talent looks shaky after Amanda Holden admitted that she might not be returning as a judge on the show.
The blonde star hinted that she won’t be seen back on BGT if she has other projects booked for the same time.
Speaking to Metro, Amanda said: "I don't know if I'll be back. I would like to but I'm happy either way."
She added: "For me it comes down to the scheduling of the stuff I have planned and if that fits in with the show then great. But if not, I won't be able to do it."
Amanda’s comments come just as Piers Morgan has been confirmed by CNN as chat show Larry King’s replacement, with the broadcaster and journalist taking on his new role in January.
Piers has already hinted that he will probably not be returning to BGT, as his new position at CNN will mean a move to the US.
Simon Cowell also spoke out earlier in the year to say that it is unlikely he will return to judge the auditions for BGT, and if he does come back to the show it will at the semi-finals stage of the competition.
Cowell is also working hard on launching the US version of The X Factor, and rumours are circulating that he may quit all of his TV shows in the UK to focus on his new projects stateside. Just days ago he told The Sun: "At the moment you are going to see me doing one show next year - and not one in England. I have a contract for this year and that is it."
