Coronation Street's David Platt is reportedly to be accused of the attempted murder of Graeme Proctor.
David (Jack P. Shepherd) and Graeme (Craig Gazey) fell out earlier this year after Graeme began dating his friends ex Tina McIntyre (Michelle Keegan).
The pair will fight after Tina tells Graeme that David has tried to kiss her, according to The Sun.
David is left humiliated and then allegedly steals his grandmother Audrey's car.
It is then rumoured that he suffers an epileptic fit at the wheel, before knocking down Graeme.
A source told the newspaper: "As far as police are concerned it looks like an open and shut case.
"They fell out and David ran him down. No-one believes David when he says he can't remember it.
"He's just told too many lies before."
The report added that David faces a life sentence but after he continues to black out he is eventually diagnosed as epileptic.
