Sparks were always going to fly when ex-husband-and-wife Chantelle and Preston were reunited on Big Brother – but one person who is less than happy to see this is the singer’s girlfriend, Abby Rubin.
The flirting and cosy chats between the pair have helped make Ulitimate Big Brother must-see TV, with the nation waiting with baited breath to see if anything will happen with the former couple.
But it seems part-time model Abby, who has been with Preston for two years, is far from impressed. – and a friend told Star magazine that she is willing to do whatever it takes to hang onto her man.
“She’s been with Preston for two years now and although they have a long distance relationship, she feels they are as secure as ever,” the source revealed.
“She is angry about what’s been going on in the house, and says that Chantelle should leave Preston well alone. But she also says that she’s confident he will come straight back to her when he leaves the programme.”
The friend added: “She doesn’t feel threatened by Chantelle, but Abby is definitely prepared to fight tooth and nail for him.”
The couple have been having a long distance relationship after Abby was forced to move back home to the US, after her visa ran out.
And it looks like the strain of living so far apart might be starting to show, after Preston admitted that he’s not even sure whether or not he is still with Abby. When asked by Chantelle if he was still in a relationship, Preston simply answered: “She’s moved away, hasn’t she?”
He also told fellow housemate Nick Bateman that he had “sort of forgotten how cool she (Chantelle) is”. And to add to Abby’s woes, Chantelle and Preston have even arranged to meet up after the show finishes this Friday, September 10 for a catch up.
