Saturday night’s X Factor ended with a scene that wouldn’t have looked out of place on Jeremy Kyle, but it’s not done fighting duo Abbey and Lisa any harm.
The girls instantly became the stars of the show, over-shadowing stunning performances from fellow hopefuls, Storm and Cher.
Their out of tune rendition of Shayne Wards That’s My Goal led to boos from the crowd and criticism from the judges.
When gobby Lisa mouthed off at guest judge Natalie Imbruglia, Abbey decided it was time to shut her mate up and punched her in the face. Lovely!
Simon Cowell reportedly let the girls see the footage before it aired, fearing a media / public backlash, but on the contrary, the feisty duo have now landed their first gig.
They will perform next Sunday at Scrumptious in Guildford.
Let’s hope the young ‘ladies’ are on their best behaviour.
