Cheryl Cole is about to end her relationship with Derek Hough, a report has claimed.
The X Factor judge has told Hough that she "needs some space" following her divorce from footballer husband Ashley last Friday.
Strictly Come Dancing judge Bruno Tonioli, who introduced Derek to the Geordie singer, told a Sunday newspaper that Cole is planning to ditch the dancer upon her return to the UK.
Bruno told The People: "Cheryl has said she needs space and he respects that, so when Cheryl gets back to the UK, their thing will be over.
"What she has been through is so humiliating and heartbreaking for her. She has had to deal with a divorce in the public and that must be so hard.
"Cheryl needs some time apart from Derek. He knows this, he knows they will be apart."
Tonioli added: "He realises that when Cheryl gets back to England and gets back into The X Factor things will change."
