X Factor stars JLS were said to be "shocked" by the mania that surrounded a recent book signing session in London, according to a report.
Sources said that over one thousand "screaming fans" caused a frenzy at the event at Selfridges in the capital.
Aston Merrygold, Marvin Humes, JB Gill and Oritsé Williams were at the store to promote their new book 'Just Between Us: Our Private Diary'.
An insider told the Daily Star that only 400 fans were able to see the boyband during the two-hour signing session.
It has even be claimed that the sheer number of JLS fans wanting to attend the event caused some office workers to become trapped inside buildings near to the Oxford Street store.
JLS told their followers on Twitter: "Wow this is why we love you all sooooo much!
"Thanks to everyone who came down to signing. Heard you were camping overnight! Love you guys so much."
