Cheryl Cole is set to fly back to the UK for the Judges House stage of The X Factor, but she isn’t looking forward to it.
A friend has told new! magazine that the Girls Aloud beauty is struggling to cope with the thought of leaving new love Derek Hough.
The pal said: “Cheryl is devastated to be leaving Derek.
“She’s become so reliant on him over the past few weeks and has no choice but to come back home.
“She’s stressing out about having to spend time apart from him.”
Derek has been a constant companion to Cheryl since she contracted malaria and is credited with helping her cope with the illness.
He whisked her off to LA to recover and the Geordie lass has been lapping up the sunshine and enjoying getting to know Derek’s friends and family.
He will now stay on in the States to compete in Dancing with the Stars whilst Cheryl returns to her hectic work schedule on The X Factor.
The split will no doubt make or break the relationship and confirm to Cheryl whether she truly wants to move to America.
