Big Brother host Davina McCall has said she hopes that John James is genuine. The 42-year-old says the Australian will be in trouble if he hurts Josie.
The couple kept audiences tuned in to the reality show with their will-they-won't-they love affair.
Davina told Now magazine: "I don't understand them at all."
She added: "Sometimes I think it's real - but if he's just playing, he's the biggest wind-up merchant ever.
"If he's not in love with her, my heart goes out to Josie because he's led her a merry dance."
Josie quit the Ultimate Big Brother house after comments made by her new housemates concerning her relationship with John James.
Nadia said: "All I saw when he kissed you was like a headlock.
"They weren't real kisses. I don't think I'm going to be the first of last person you hear this from."
Channel 4 racing pundit John called John James a "scumbag" telling Josie that the retired welder was "lukewarm" towards her.
