X Factor stars John and Edward Grimes have suggested that Dannii Minogue wanted to name her first child after them, says a report.
The Irish twins have claimed that Dannii, who gave birth to Ethan Edward last month, really wanted to name the child after the singing duo.
John told Yahoo News: "Dannii's had a baby - she called her baby Ethan Edward and she clearly wanted to call it John Edward."
The brothers claimed that the the new series of The X Factor has been made "interesting" by the addition of guest judges.
Geri Halliwell, Katy Perry, Pixie Lott and Nicole Scherzinger were drafted in by Simon Cowell to cover while Dannii was on maternity leave.
John admitted: "It's made it really really interesting this year, it's made it different."
A recent report claimed that Pussycat Doll Scherzinger is the current frontrunner to land a post on the panel of the planned US version of The X Factor in 2011.
Show boss Cowell was said to be "impressed" with her performance while standing in for Cheryl Cole.
