It’s the show that has started a storm – and the hour-long show looks into allegations of sex abuse against the late Jim’ll Fix It star.

Exposure: The Other Side of Jimmy Savile is now available on the STV Player here. It promises a no-holds-barred look at the claims that have caused shockwaves in the UK media this week.

Former detective Mark Williams-Thomas conducts an in-depth investigation into allegations that Sir Jimmy Savile sexually abused vulnerable teenage girls at the height of his fame.

In the ITV Exposure documentary, five women claim they were sexually assaulted by the presenter and DJ when they were young girls.

The emerging details have drawn a focus on to the BBC, after a Newsnight programme, which included an interview with a woman who claimed she was sexually abused by Savile, was never broadcast. There have also been claims that former Radio 1 controller, the late Douglas Muggeridge, knew about the abuse claims against Savile, who passed away last October.

Meanwhile a woman has claimed that she was sexually abused by Savile, who was knighted in 1990, and saw Gary Glitter "have sex with a girl" in the presenter's dressing room.

In Scotland a statue of the late star has been removed from Scotstoun Leisure Centre in Glasgow, while plans to convert his Highland cottage into a retreat for the disabled are "in limbo".
