Former This Morning presenter John Leslie is in negotiations to appear in the next series of `I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!, a report has claimed.
Sources told a tabloid newspaper that Leslie is hoping to use the reality TV show as a platform to rebuild his career.
A show insider told the Daily Record that the former Blue Peter star believes that a stint on the show will help boost his popularity.
The source claimed: "John has had several meetings with ITV about taking part and it's now at an advanced stage.
"He's hoping it will help get him back into telly. He thinks it would make great viewing."
A show spokesman has refused to confirm that Leslie had been approached to participate in the new series of the jungle reality programme.
A recent report has suggested that X Factor stars John and Edward Grimes have been signed up for the jungle camp.
It was suggested that their manager, Louis Walsh, wants to ensure that the Irish twins remain in the public spotlight.
