Eurogamer Expo day 2: Nintendo’s Wii U, Sony’s Wonderbook and more

The Bit Socket boys (Joe Merrick and Scott White) are back with day two of their coverage from the Eurogamer Expo, the UK’s biggest games show.

This time the boys check out this year’s must-have Christmas gadget, Nintendo’s Wii U. The Wii U brings a new experience to gaming, with a handheld tablet controller that opens up brand new ways to play – just as the Wii did in 2006.

They also get all cosy and read a bedtime story with Sony’s new Wonderbook, an interactive book that opens up a magical world from the mind of J.K. Rowling.

Joe gets his hands on the HD update of the cult classic Zone of the Enders, while Scott tries out the beautiful Ni No Kuni, a game made in partnership with the masters of Japanese animation, Studio Ghibli.

It’s not all about the big games on the cutting edge though: the boys manage to squeeze in a tour of the Rezzed Indie game stall, and a trip down memory lane at the Replay Retro Arcade.
