X Factor judge Cheryl Cole has confessed that she "can't wait" until the Judges' Houses stage of the contest, says a report.
The 27-year-old told the official website that she is desperate to discover which category she will be mentoring during the live finals.
Cheryl missed out on most of the earlier stages of the reality TV singing contest because she was suffering from malaria.
In a recorded video message, she said: "I'm really sorry I couldn't be there at the launch today and I'm absolutely gutted that I missed the last audition and the Boot Camp stage.
"But I'm really excited and really looking forward to seeing who Simon [Cowell], Louis [Walsh] and Nicole [Scherzinger] have chosen.
"I can't wait to get my category so I can get my teeth into it at Judges' Houses."
The X Factor returns on Saturday at 7.30pm on STV.
