Danni Minogue's boyfriend has praised the X Factor star for being a natural at motherhood.
The couple had their first baby when Dannii gave birth to Ethan last month.
Smith told Gold Coast: "I'd swear she's done it before if I didn't know better.
"She took to it really well, her parental instincts just kicked in and away she goes."
The former rugby player turned model has admitted that becoming a father had helped him to mature.
He said: "It's amazing, it definitely makes you grow up and it is challenging.
"We never expected it to be easy but when you look at him every night and every morning it kind of makes you forget everything else.
"It's the most amazing feeling and you kind of forget they've just kept you up for six hours right throughout the night, don't you? It's all a thing of the past then."
