Peter Andre is set to take on ex-wife Katie Price by releasing his own series of children's books, says a report.
The Aussie singer is set to go head-to-head in the bookstores by releasing a series of kids' books to tell youngsters the difference between right and wrong.
Andre told a Sunday newspaper that he decided to pen the books because "children do not have enough positive role models".
A source close to Andre told the Daily Star Sunday that the books will also give Pete the opportunity to "have a dig" at his ex.
A pal told the newspaper: "Peter has had meetings with several publishers.
"His kids are the most important thing in his life and he's worried youngsters don't get taught the right values any more.
"He has come up with the idea to do a series of adventure books which all have strong underlining moral values - something you won't find in Katie's books."
The source continued: "Peter wants to look to the future rather than rake up the past.
"Instead of attacking his kids' mum publicly, he'd prefer to set them a good example.
"He's even thinking about making Harvey, Princess and Junior characters in the books."
