Alex Reid wants people to give his wife Katie Price a chance. The Celebrity Big Brother winner has asked people to stop slating Price over her attempts to launch a pop career.
The reality star's first solo single `Free To Love Again' failed to break the top 40 and only reached number 60 in the UK singles chart.
Reid told Star magazine: "I am not happy about the amount of slating that Katie has been getting for her song 'Free To Love Again'.
"I think it's brilliant. It is really poppy and like a Kylie song."
Price has decided to quit the music industry. She felt that she failed in her attempt as she found it hard to dance and sing at the same time.
She told The Sune: "It's so hard to sing and dance at the same time. I now appreciate how difficult it is.
"I knew I wasn't going to be good at it. But you only live once."
Reid said: "I asked if she was gutted about the response but she said she is not bothered, she did it to have fun, not to take over the world.
"So, can everyone please just give her a chance?"
