As Strictly Come Dancing gets set to pirouette back onto our screens in all its shimmering glory, the rumour mill regarding this year’s line-up has gone into overdrive, with Kimberley Walsh the latest lady tipped to be putting on her dancing shoes.
If this is true, the other contestants must be quaking in their Cuban heels as Kimberley is no stranger to busting some funky moves, as one fifth of hit girl band Girls Aloud.
The stunning star has also recently enjoyed a successful run playing Princess Fiona in the West End musical Shrek.
A source from the show told the Daily Mirror: “When we heard she was interested we were thrilled. Now everyone's dying to see her moves. She's a great name to have got.”
Others rumoured to be cha cha-ing their way onto our screens this September include Westlife’s Nicky Byrne and TV favourite Fern Britton.
Sure to cook up a storm is Great British Bake Off judge Paul Hollywood – who is fast becoming a housewives favourite, with his silver fox looks and knowledge of how to make a perfectly risen loaf and sweet as pie pastries.
A host of Olympic stars have also been keen to go for gold on the show, with Victoria Pendleton and Sir Steve Redgrave hotly tipped to be taking part .
Add to that Jerry Hall and Rickkkkkkky – aka Sid Owen from EastEnders – and it looks like Strictly 2012 is set to be one of the most exciting series of the dance show yet.
