Strictly Ultimatum: Sign or Foxtrot off! Pic: BBC
Strictly Come Dancing bosses have allegedly issued an ultimatum to some of the pro dancers to accept their plans to revamp the BBC show.
A source told the News of the World that the dancers have been told to: "Sign up this week or Foxtrot off."
Show chiefs apparently want the dancers to create a new troupe who will perform showpiece routines on the programme every week.
The dancers, who had been given celebrity contestants to mentor in previous years, have yet to sign up new contracts with the show.
Ian Waite, Matthew Cutler, Lilia Kopylova and Darren Bennett were all invited to join but have not yet agreed.
A BBC source told the newspaper that "patience was running out".
They said: "...If the four didn't sign soon...the deal would be off."
