Ashley Cole's former lover Sarah Purnell has insisted that the footballer is not still hung up on ex-wife Cheryl. The former Spearmint Rhino lap dancer believes the Chelsea defender has moved on.
Purnell who allegedly bedded the England footballer on May 2, and June 1, said he appeared to be fine about being single.
She told Now magazine: "He seemed quite happy with his life and didn't seem down or on the rebound.
"He's so laid-back and chilled. He's so grounded. I think Ash gets a really hard time."
Sarah added that she does not blame Ashley for cheating on Cheryl during their marriage.
She revealed that she met the 29-year-old after she did up his untied shoelace in London's Supperclub.
Purnell added: "He has women constantly throwing themselves at him.
"I feel sorry for him. What a way to live your life."
Cheryl has filed for divorce from Ashley after they split earlier this year following allegations he had been unfaithful with several women.
