Olly Murs excited over single release

X Factor star Olly Murs has confessed that he is excited over the release of his debut single, says a report.

The Essex lad, who was runner-up behind Joe McElderry in the 2009 series of Simon Cowell's reality TV singing contest, revealed that the track will premiere on radio on Friday 2 July.

`Please Don't Let Me Go', which was was co-written by Murs, Steve Robson and Claude Kelly, will also be released online.

Olly told his followers on the social networking site Twitter that the song would make its radio debut on Capital FM.

He tweeted: "My single ' Please don't let me go' is going to radio tomorrow, so listen out on Capital 95.8 FM for it!!!".

Murs also confirmed on his official website that his album will feature several collaborations with top songwriters.

The record will see Murs record tracks written by Claude Kelly, John Shanks and Eg White.

Olly added: "I'm so excited to be releasing this track!! It was important to me to be releasing an original song."
