Simon Cowell has asked former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell to join the panel of The X Factor as a guest judge, says a report.
The 37-year-old will sit on the panel alongside Louis Walsh, Cheryl Cole and Simon at the Glasgow auditions on Wednesday.
It has been claimed that Ginger Spice is one of the celebrity guest judges hired by Cowell to take over from Dannii Minogue.
The Aussie singer will not be filming the audition stages of this year's series as she is expecting her first baby with Kris Smith in July.
Geri told reporters that she was looking forward to the challenge of being a judge on the hit singing contest.
She said: "I love The X Factor!"
But Halliwell is not the only former Spice Girl to be linked to a slot as a guest judge on the panel.
Geri's former bandmate Mel B is also thought to be in the running for a place on the panel.
