Twist & Pulse is the runner-up of Britain’s Got Talent 2010 having just lost out on the title to Spelbound.
Ashley Glazebrook and Glen Murphy, aka Twist & Pulse performed to a fun combination of everything from cartoon classics like Scooby Doo, to reggae, the Cheeky Girls and Euro pop.
Piers told the boys: "People say it's a disadvantage to go first in the final because people won't remember. I think in this case it's been a massive advantage because you have set the bar tonight for the others to follow."
Amanda agreed saying : "I was really worried I had seen everything you could do but tonight you've shown me that there's more and more and more. You're on the money every single time. You have a real shot."
Simon was equally impressed telling Ashley and Glen: "What's really important about you two is you're incredibly current. Young kids are totally going to relate to you; they're going to look up to you; they're going to copy you. I can see you making a fortune in commercials, videos. I'm really impressed with you guys tonight , well done."
Ashley and Glen may have brought a touch of comedy to their dancing but they have real skills and are both trained ballet dancers.
Although they did not win, their appearance on Britain’s Got Talent could ensure the London lads have a bright future ahead of them, especially after hugely successful BGT presenters Ant and Dec said they reminded them of themselves.
However, they did admit it was with one big difference - Twist and Pulse could "actually dance".
Ant and Dec wrote in their official blog: "Thank goodness for the ray of light provided by Twist and Pulse.
"They entertained with their own unique brand of 'streetomedy', a mix of street dancing and comedy."
The duo added: "With their bright hip-hop outfits and body popping moves, they reminded us of ourselves back in our PJ & Duncan days with one small difference, they COULD actually dance, and we... um... couldn't."
Piers Morgan carried on the joke at Ant and Dec's expense, telling Twist & Pulse: "it’s so good to see a properly talented double act standing on that stage.”
The lads won’t get the chance to perform in front of the Queen at the Royal Variety Performance but could still follow in Diversity’s dancing footsteps and bring a unique touch of Street to the British entertainment scene. Let’s hope so.
