Spelbound is the winner of Britain’s Got Talent 2010. The talented gymnasts are deserved winners of the title having performed a stunning routine.

Spellbound won after a stunning acrobatic performance. After the announcement, Simon Cowell said: “Do you know what? The show is called Britain’s Got Talent and absolutely the right guys and girls won on the night.”

Spellbound were over the moon to win the talent contest. After being asked how they felt, one of the members said: “Oh my God this is unbelievable. I just want to say thank you to everyone out there. It just shows that all our hard work has paid off.”

The gymnasts won after a gruelling practice regime, as their choreographer and trainer Neil told Ant and Dec: “They’ve worked so hard…since the semi-finals we’ve really had to pull out the stops.” He added: “They’ve worked in the gym from six in the morning until 12 at night.”

The 13 members of Spelbound - Adam McAssey 20, Adam Buckingham 21, Alex Uttley 24, Jonathan Stranks 15, Douglas Fordyce 19, Edward Upcott 18, Nicholas Illingworth 24, Katie Axten 17, Leighanne Cowler 18, Lauren Kemp 17, Hollianne Wood 13, Abigail Ralph 15 and Amy Mackenzie 12 - have dedicated their life to training and perfecting lifts, throws and gravity defying moves.

Tonight, it finally paid off. Earlier in the night, Peirs said: “Just when we think you can’t top what you’ve done before you start lobbing people over the judges table. This show is about finding hidden British talent that can perform in front of the Royal family and can be a flag bearer for Britian all around the world and you are that act.”

Amanda said: “I’m running out of adjectives for you guys, it was a slick and disciplined routine. We’re hosting the 2012 Olympics and I think you would be a great opening act.”

Simon added: “If we’re talking in Olympic terms that would have won the gold medal. We have used a lot of adjectives to describe you guys through out the course of the show but I can honestly say on live TV that was one of the most astonishing things I’ve ever seen.”

The team also impressed In the semi-final, when Simon told the Middlesex performers: "I have never seen anything like this in this country... I agree with the guys, this is what this show is all about, its finding undiscovered talent and that’s what you are. Absolutely super." He also compared the act to Cirque De Soleil. Could Spelbound now be about to enjoy similar success to the critically acclaimed Cirque performers?

The young gymnasts have also taken the US by storm earning an appearance in American magazine Entertainment Weekly where the journalists described the groups’ performance as "jaw dropping."

The feature said: "If you've yet to see Spelbound, the gymnastics group that rocked Britain's Got Talent - including judge Simon Cowell - you'll want to watch the clip.

“They range in age from 12 to 24, have killer abs, propel each other into the air and across the stage, balance themselves on one hand on each other's heads, and swing one girl like a skipping rope."

The only negative criticism came when they described their pale British skin as "pasty".

Time to dig out the fake tan and take the world by storm, starting off with a performance for the Queen at the Royal Variety performance. Congratulations Spelbound.

    Congrats to all!

    Thanks for posting the results!

I missed the last 3 nights - I can't play newer youtube videos on my cellphone. Can't wait to watch the videos soon.

My favorite was Neil Fullard (and his buddies. We call doormen "bouncers" in the States). And I liked Olivia Archbold too. CS and Janey also of course.

BGT is a great show...not many Americans were aware it was going on all this week.
