Janey Cutler has been voted into the Britain’s Got Talent final on Saturday night after she shone in a stunning red dress, with matching lips, oozing Hollywood glamour.
Having won over the judges and viewers around the world with her rendition of Edith Piaf’s No Regrets in the BGT auditions, the 81 year old once again impressed tonight as she sang Shirley Bassey's song,This is My Life .
Escorted on to the stage by two handsome males, Janey sang her heart out... and it paid off. After getting off to a slightly shaky start, she launched into the chorus with power you wouldn't expect from such a tiny lady!
Piers Morgan told her: “Janey you are magnificent. I have been waiting the whole competition for you. That wasn’t just the performance of the night, that was the best performance of the whole week by mile.”
Amanda Holden gushed: “Janey you have got the lungs of a twenty year old. I can’t enthuse enough, you were fantastic, tremendous, a credit to your family. Best performance of night, the Royal family would love it.”
Simon Cowell simply smiled: “You epitomise this show. It’s not just about talent its about spirit and character You gave it 100% and I am going to remember this performance for a long time.”

Janey laughed and joked with presenters Ant and Dec, telling them she "cannae get o'er" being in the show. Her infectious giggle and strong voice even earned her a standing ovation.
The great-granny from Wishaw could now go on to enjoy similar success to Scot’s Britain’s Got Talent 2009 runner-up, Susan Boyle.
Janey has already been dubbed Nu-Bo and just like Su-Bo before her, Americans have taken the unassuming lady into their hearts, desperate for her to make appearances across the pond.
According to The Sun, US TV channels, including NBC and CBS, want to broadcast the humble grandma into tens of millions of American homes.
Janey told The Sun: "I'm over the moon just to have been able to perform on the programme.
"That's all I've ever wanted to do. But this interest from America is making it even more of a dream come true."
Although Janey has emerged as one of the favourites to take the BGT title, she hasn’t considered the possibility of winning the show.
She said: “If I won? That’s not something I’ve even thought about, I’m just happy to be doing something I enjoy in singing. Any money would go towards animals and kiddies who I adore, why have money sat in the bank when it can help people. I would look after my family and the grandchildren.”
The lovely lady added: “I’m just happy to keep on enjoying myself and be happy – my family, singing and my dog make me happy. I love walking me dog, I enjoy singing and seeing the grandkiddies of course. I’ve got a new great grandson who has just turned 1yrs old and he’s adorable, really funny, a true comic in the making.”
It was revealed that Janey’s smile masks a lifetime of heartbreak after she lost a baby son and two husband’s. Let’s hope tonight, she is having the time of her life and can finally enjoy the stardom she deserves.
