Bitchy Louis Walsh has had a swipe at X Factor bosses Simon Cowell, according to a report. The Irish music mogul has claimed that Simon Cowell is not handsome enough for his fiancee Mezghan Hussainy.

Louis told a gossip magazine that he thinks that the Hollywood make-up artist "could do better".

Walsh told New! magazine: "She's a lovely person and so gorgeous - too pretty for him. She could do better than this 50-year-old man with a funny haircut."

The outspoken X Factor judge insisted that Simon needs to have a change of hairstyle before marrying Hussainy.

He joked: "Simon could pay anyone in the world to cut his hair - he could even buy new hair. It's weird but he likes it and she must, too."

However, Louis claimed that Cowell was different from his on-screen persona.

He added: "I know the real Simon and he's a very decent man."

Walsh also told the publication that he would like Mel B to replace Dannii Minogue on the X Factor later this summer.

He said: "I would love Mel B to do it. She's gobby and would be able to put Simon and Cheryl in their places. I'll gang up with her against them."
