Katie Price has asked husband Alex Reid to give up his career as a cage-fighter, a report has claimed.
The former glamour model is said to have begged Reid to abandon his fighting ambitions after watching his forthcoming opponent Tom `Kong' Watson in the ring.
Sources told the Daily Star that Katie made the request after witnessing the cage-fighter in action in a bout against Matt Horwich in Birmingham on Saturday night.
An insider suggested that Katie is worried that Alex will get hurt in any fight against Watson.
A source told the newspaper: "Alex arrived looking like he'd been on a sunbed - he was almost as orange as Kate.
"After he saw Kong in action he went white."
The insider alleged that Price does not want Alex to be embarrassed after losing the forthcoming fight.
They added: "For Kate, image is everything. She doesn't want Alex ridiculed in front of her fans."
