Britain's Got Talent's singing superstar Susan Boyle has this year's Christmas No.1 album in the bag already, according to reports.

The 49-year-old has already secured advance sales of over £1million for her follow-up album to `I Dreamed A Dream' despite having yet to set foot in the recording studio to work on the CD.

Online retailer Amazon has confirmed that it has taken more than two million advance orders for Susan's second album.

A spokesman for the firm has claimed that the new album is set to take the record for the biggest number of pre-sale orders.

An industry source told the Daily Record: "We haven't seen this before.

"It's seven months ahead of the release and already people are putting in requests for pre-sales. It's an incredible achievement already.

"There is still a phenomenal interest in the woman who captured the nation's heart."

Susan, from Blackburn, West Lothian, is set to start work on the new album within the next two weeks.

She has said of the project: "I'm hoping to make it better and a bit extra special."

Even if the next CD only does half as well as the first, that will still be a huge success.

I think that it will do great because she really does have the most beautiful voice.
